Human Captial Development: HCD
Introduction:

Unlike HRM course that focuses on the general issues of staffing, the Human Capital Development course targets technically skilled trades men and women (welders, carpenters, bricklayers, mechanics, tailors, electricians, plumbers etc) who are micro entrepreneurs, hired when project opportunities arise, seldomly made permanent and almost never rising through the managerial ladder if retained. The HCD programme aims to up-skill such professionals by developing their supervisory and first level management knowledge and skills.
